Online Recovery Programme for Anxious Clients
A PSYCHOLOGIST-DRIVEN THERAPEUTIC SPACE
For Anxiety That Keeps Coming Back.
Most anxiety treatments address one part of a three-part problem.
Root cause work without nervous system repair doesn't hold.
Symptom management without addressing the fear-of-fear loop doesn't hold.
That's usually why a client who's already had good therapy is still stuck.
Finally Unstuck is a psychologist-led group membership built around a three-part model of stuck anxiety, designed to sit alongside your client's existing care, not replace it.
The Clinical Model Explained...
Anxiety is not, in itself, the problem. The nervous system is designed to generate an anxiety response and return to baseline. Stuck anxiety (a.k.a. anxiety disorders) happens when three things are true at once.
An unresolved root cause. Early experiences, unexamined beliefs, or unprocessed events that were never identified as drivers, because the presenting symptom was treated as the problem.
A fear-of-fear loop. The client becomes afraid of their own anxiety response. That fear sends a threat signal to the nervous system, which produces more of the sensations being feared.
A depleted nervous system. Chronic over-functioning and prolonged stress activation leave the nervous system without the capacity to learn. Skills don't land. Insight doesn't transfer. Largely because the system underneath isn't in a state where change can hold.
THE EVIDENCE
Preliminary Outcomes Data
This model has been evaluated in a 16-week structured programme using the same clinical content and framework that now forms the Eight Shifts Programme inside Finally Unstuck.
Study design: Single-arm, longitudinal, mixed-methods evaluation. 11 adults enrolled; 10 completed final questionnaires; 8 completed in-depth exit interviews. Participants were based across NZ, the UK, and North America, and largely working or running businesses throughout. Measures were taken at baseline, midpoint, and endpoint.
What changed:
| Measure | Baseline | Endpoint | |
|---|---|---|---|
|
OASIS (anxiety severity/disruption) |
13.73 | 6.90 | |
| WSAS (functional impairment) | 23.00 | 11.00 |
What this does and doesn't establish. This was a small, single-arm evaluation, not a randomised controlled trial, and it does not establish causation the way a controlled study would. It provides preliminary evidence consistent with meaningful improvement in both anxiety disruption and daily functioning, and a plausible account of the mechanisms driving that change. Research is ongoing.

INTRODUCING...
A Psychologist-led Group Membership
-
Structure: The Eight Shifts Programme is the core pathway, working through root cause, fear-of-fear, and nervous system depletion in sequence. Delivered through guided lessons, integration workbooks, and a resource library covering panic, sleep anxiety, and root cause work specifically.
-
Contact: Fortnightly live group calls with Diante, plus a dedicated member community. Members bring questions live or work through material independently.
-
Access to guest experts and anxiety specialists to support you with topics like chronic pain, nutrition, medication choices, somatic release and more...
-
What it is not: Not crisis support. Not a diagnostic service. Not a substitute for individual therapy where that's clinically indicated
HERE'S WHAT'S INSIDE:
GUIDED LESSONS
Structured psychoeducation covering the root cause, the fear-of-fear loop, and nervous system depletion, plus the step-by-step process for addressing each.
PSYCHOLOGIST SUPPORT
Fortnightly live group calls with Diante, where members bring questions directly. Recorded for anyone who can't attend live.
INTEGRATION KITS
Guided exercises that move each lesson from understanding into applied practice, so change extends beyond intellectual insight.
resource LIBRARY
The full course library plus targeted support material for panic, sleep anxiety, and root cause work, including recordings for use in acute moments.
GUEST EXPERTS
Periodic sessions with practitioners in adjacent areas — nutrition, medication-related questions, chronic pain, somatic approaches.
MEMBER COMMUNITY
A dedicated space for peer connection with others working through the same process, reducing isolation between sessions.
Let's Check Referral Fit
Who this is (and isn't) for:
Good Fit:
-
High-functioning adults whose anxiety has a clear onset (not lifelong, treatment-naive presentations)
-
Clients who've had prior therapy, medication, or both, and are still symptomatic or still restricting their life around anxiety
-
Clients currently on a waitlist for individual therapy who need structured support in the interim
-
Clients who want to understand the mechanism behind their anxiety, not only manage symptoms
-
Clients comfortable in a group format and able to engage with self-directed material between calls
Inappropriate:
- Active suicidality or acute risk — this is not a crisis service and has no same-day response capacity
- Complex trauma or comorbidity requiring individualised clinical formulation and treatment planning
- Clients who need 1:1 therapeutic contact rather than group support
- Acute psychiatric presentations requiring medical stabilisation before psychological work is appropriate
About Diante...
Clinical Background
I'm a Clinical Psychologist with over a decade in private practice, based in New Zealand.
I developed the three-part model behind this programme after watching conventional approaches fail to resolve my own husband's health anxiety over eighteen months, despite good therapy and correct diagnosis. What was missing wasn't skill or effort. It was that root cause, fear-of-fear, and nervous system depletion were never being addressed at the same time.
That gap became the basis for the Eight Shifts Programme, the outcomes study above, and The Gift of Anxiety (TCK Publishing, 2024). I also host the EASE Anxiety Podcast and continue to see clients directly alongside running Finally Unstuck.
I built this programme for the clients I know you're already seeing: high-functioning, done the work, still stuck. If you're deciding whether it's the right fit for someone on your caseload, I'm glad to talk it through directly.
HOW TO REFER
Email [email protected] with your client's name and a brief note on what you're hoping this addresses. If it's not clear whether Finally Unstuck is the right fit, say that too — happy to talk it through before anyone commits to anything.
What happens next: I'll reply directly, usually within 2 business days. If it looks like a fit, your client gets a link to join with a 7-day trial before anything is charged. If it doesn't look like a fit, I'll say so plainly and point toward something more appropriate where I can.
For clients who'd like to look at the membership themselves first:
